Arsenal and Barcelona would be doing business soon as club prepares offer
Barcelona and Arsenal look increasingly likely to be doing transfer very soon if reports are to be believed. Both clubs are no strangers and have a good relationship in the transfer market.
It has been weeks since Ernesto Valverde arrived and his plans for the future have been synchronized with that of sporting director, Robert Fernandez.
According to Turkish paper AMK, Barcelon has told Turan’s agent his client can leave. The midfielder arrived from Atletico Madrid in 2015 but his future now looks to be away from the Camp Nou.
AMK reports that Turan’s agent Ahmed Bulut has met with representatives of Inter Milan. Nevertheless, it appears Arsenal are the favorites and are already considering a 30 million euros offer.
Barcelona are willing to sell the player for a fee above 20 million euros. And an offer of 30 million euros is more than enough by Barcelona’s valuation.
The Gunners have been linked to the midfielder for sometime now, and it appears a deal is on.
Arda was initially tipped to succeed last season under Luis Enrique. Enrique called him back to pre-season earlier than expected to work more with him.
He showed some sparks of brilliance during their pre-season tour and began the season well. But he faded out of Enrique’s plans in the final stages of the season.
He managed 18 games in the league this season, starting 14 of them and also has offers from China.
