Barcelona player is set to make loan move to Brazil
Not much movement of players is expected to happen in the January transfer window as club’s would be reluctant letting go of stars midway through the season.
But for those players who haven’t lived up to expectations, clubs would agree to loan deals or permanent transfer.
MARCA have reported that Barcelona are set to let go of Robert Goncalves. The player’s future at Barcelona is extremely bleak since he moved over from Fluminense last January on loan.
The 19-year-old was signed to strengthen the club’s junior team, Barca B, but had a far from pleasant experience in Catalonia.
He was completely ignored by B team coach Gerard Lopez and his technical staff, making no single league appearance.
The striker’s only appearance was in the final of the Copa Catalunya against Sabadell, where he played just 30 minutes.
Goncalves is set to head back to Brazil as Globoesporte have confirmed he would join Boavista on loan and is set to feature in the Campeonato Carioca.
