Lionel Messi buys 77-room four-star hotel in Spain (Pictures included)
Lionel Messi ha already agreed terms with Barcelona on a new contract extension Barcelona. And as expected the financial details are mind-blowing with a reported 30 million euros a season in wages after taxes.
With more money than the modest Messi can spend, he has gone on to secure his future with a big investment.
According to ‘Espanison’ via SPORT, Leo has purchased a four-star hotel in the Coastal city of Sitges for €30 million. Sitges is a coastal town in Spain’s Catalonia region, southwest of Barcelona.
It is backed by the mountainous Parc Natural del Garraf. And is known for its Mediterranean beaches and seafront promenade lined with grand mansions.
The four-star hotel has 77 rooms — five of which are junior suites and one of which is a superior suite — and is situated in the second line of buildings from the sea.
There is a swimming pool included on the top floor which you can see the sea from and the price of a room in high season ranges from 250 euros to 300 euros per night.
Other features include
- 300 square meters of lounges,
- a spa,
- a terrace with a swimming pool and panoramic views of Sitges beach.
The hotel has been renamed Hotel MiM Sitges and is located on Avenida Sofía, 12.
