Don’t miss Olivier Giroud’s new goal celebration after his late equalizer
Arsenal were in for a surprising new year’s gift from Bournemouth at the Vitality. Before anyone knew what was happening, Gunners were already a goal down after an error from Hector Bellerin.
But their night went from bad to worse as they conceded a penalty which was converted by Callum Wilson and then Bournemouth scored a third.
Wenger’s men showed the fans the stuff they were made of, as they fought hard to reduce the deficit. It took until the 70th minute for Arsenal to get a goal back as Giroud set up Sanchez for their opener.
Lucas Perez added the second 5 minutes later and then Giroud scored a 92nd minute header.
The Frenchman celebrated wildly and went ahead to do the ‘scorpion kick’ in reference to his goal against Crystal Palace.
His celebration was actually wasting a bit of time as his team-mates urged him to stop and get back into the field so they could push for a winner…wish never came by the way.
