Barcelona and Inter Milan close to reaching agreement
Barcelona and Serie A giants, Inter Milan are set to conclude transfer business together in this winter transfer window.
Inter have taken the backseat in the world of football in recent times. But they look on the right path back to their glory days and have turned to Barcelona to help strengthen the team.
Barcelona are hoping to offload a number of players and Rafinha is among those set to leave.
The Brazilian just recovered from a long spell on the sidelines but is yet to be included in the plans of Ernesto Valverde.
Gianluca di Marzio reports that the former Champions League winners are set to sign Barcelona’s Rafinha on loan with their offer including a 20 million euro future fee clause.
The offer from the Italians was described as ‘serious’ and also includes three bonuses that were not fully disclosed.
Barcelona are open to the idea of seeing the midfielder leave, but the believe in Italy is that the Catalans would ask for more money.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are currently third on the Serie A table, 9 points behind Napoli who are in first position. They need to improve their performances and continue the fight that would see them back in the Champions League.
