Luis Suarez involved in another controversy
Luis Suarez is no stranger to controversy after days playing in the Premier League and is World Cup adventure.
But despite all his troubles, Barcelona still showed a tremendous amount of faith in him by signing him even under a lengthy FIFA ban.
The 29-year-old has repaid the confidence and believe Barcelona put in him.
He has led the club to a fantastic trophy haul since joining and last season, he was the highest goalscorer in both LaLiga and Europe.
However, the new year hasn’t kicked off the way every fan would have liked it to.
Suarez has fired blanks in their last two games and made the wrong headlines during their last game against Villarreal.
In an attempt to contest an aerial ball, Suarez appeared to strike Villarreal goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo, in the face.
What was even more baffling was his reaction of innocence afterwards.
The fans are too familiar with such reactions as they recalled his reaction after biting Georgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
Thankfully for the Barca fans, the incident was missed by the referee and he escaped without a card.
