Napoli returns again with strong interest for Barcelona starlet
Serie A giants, Napoli, are also looking to do a bit of shopping at Barcelona as the transfer market enters its closing weeks.
According to reports Napoli are following up on their initial inquiry on Denis Suarez. Their interest is firm and are planning on convincing Barcelona to sell the player for around 25 million euros.
The Spaniard was brought back to the club in Luis Enrique’s final year. But the surplus of midfielders saw him struggle to get game time in his first year back at the club.
Suarez is well aware of the difficulties in playing for Barcelona. But sources close to the player say he is not considering leaving Barcelona at this time.
During the season, the midfielder had expressed his readiness to stay and fight for a place in the team. And with the arrival of Ernesto Valverde, he knows he has the opportunity at a fresh start to convince the new manager.
For now, he still has a future at the club and the coaches or technical team have not told him otherwise.
