He’s back: Excitement hits Barcelona as club shares major Dembele update
Ousmane Dembele’s injury recovery as taken a big and positive teams after an announcement was made by the club at midday on Wednesday.
Ernesto Valverde’s men were in action last night as they played host to Sporting CP at the Camp Nou.
And on Wednesday morning the team were at the Ciutat Esportiva for a recovery training session.
The good news from the session was the return of Ousmane Dembele who has now started training with the rest of his teammate.
Announcing his return, the club said: “At the session Ousmane Dembélé took part in the ‘rondo’ warm-up exercises for the first time since he was injured in the game against Getafe back in September.
Following his appearance in the ‘rondo’ with the rest of the squad, the French striker carried on his session alone as his recovery from injury continues.”
“Other players who also continued with their solo recovery work after injury were Javier Mascherano and Rafinha.”

His return to training with the group comes as the player had predicted in the last week of November.
“In two weeks, I will be training with the group,” he explained.
“I have been working every day, including holidays and Sundays.
“I want to play again as soon as possible.”
