Real Madrid have found Zidane’s replacement and have already started negotiating
Real Madrid continue heading downhill after they failed to beat second-tier team Numancia at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Copa del Rey
Reports are pointing towards a dressing room shakeup with Zinedine Zidane’s head being the first to roll.
According Soy Madridsta, Florentino Perez is already searching for a replacement for the French tactician with Joachim Low being eyed as the next coach.
Perez has already decided that Zidane’s time at the Bernabeu ends this season unless he can turn their season around.
Low is currently in charge of the German national team and is doing an excellent job.
His contract with the German FA runs until 2020, but Madrid directors have already held talks and are optimistic of securing the German.
Meanwhile speaking after their draw with Numancia, Zidane admitted he had a signed a new contract with Los Blancos until 2020, but it is meaningless if results do not improve.
“I just go game to game, year to year,” said Zidane.
“I cannot think two or three years down the line, as I know how it is here, even having a contract, which means nothing.”
“It is not easy for the players who play less. We played a good game. We maybe lacked a bit of gas at the end.”
