Confirmed: Barcelona legend in talks to make January transfer
Since leaving AC Milan in 2011 the former World Cup winner has played for four different clubs, three in Brazil and one in Mexico.
To reach legendary status at a club like Barcelona means you have to be extremely talented.
Hristo Stoichkov, Xavi, Rivaldo, Iniesta and Ronaldinho are just a few talents to have made their mark in Catalonia.
We all remember Ronaldiinho and the smile he wore while embarrassing some of the game’s best players on the field.
And at 36, the Brazilian isn’t about to retire and could play one last season.
Ronaldinho hasn’t had a club since he canceled his deal with Fluminense in 2015. The Brazilian has spent the last 18 months traveling around the world attending sprots events and playing in one-off matches and tournaments.
But a new club is just around the corner according to the president of Uruguayan side Club Nacional de Football, Jose Luis Roridguez.
Rondriguez told Radio 1010: “We are trying, even though it’s difficult. We have been in talks for the past 20 days.
“We are trying to attract sponsors to make it feasible. Despite having played only a handful of friendly matches in the past 15 months, Ronaldinho can still contribute on the pitch.”
The 2015 Ballon d’Or winner started his career in Brazil and has played in countries like France, Spain, Italy and Mexico.
