UEFA announces 2016 team of the year and the most voted player wasn’t Ronaldo or Messi.
Europe’s football governing body UFEA, have today released the best XI players of 2016. The team had the usual players like Messi and Ronaldo while they were also few surprises.
The best XI which looks completely unbeatable, hard NO Premier League player included and once again Neymar who was came third in the 2015 FIFA Ballon d’Or, didn’t make the list.
Neymar’s absence was understandable as he hard a tough year, scoring the lowest amount of goals in a calendar since he turned 17.
Votes came from across the world with Europe voting more than any other continent (48%).

Madrid and Barcelona players had the most votes, with 24 and 16 per cent respectively.

Finally, the most voted for player was Ramos, with 488,908 votes. Cristiano followed with 450,220 votes and Messi (418,449) came next.
